August 28, 2020The Regno di Candia is revived in all its glory.
In the middle of the 16th century, during the Venetian occupancy, the town of Candia (today’s Heraklion) in Crete flourished leaving behind a number of monuments that still exist today.
Diadrasis, between 2013 and 2014, in collaboration with the Municipality of Heraklion run the project “Heraklion, every step a journey into history!”. Through the project an application for mobile devices was created with a 3D reproduction of Candia, which offered the visitor a unique look of the city of Heraklion then.
Now by the initiative of the Municipality of Heraklion, our company has been charged with the upgrade of this application in order to reach new technological standards. Soon a new digital application for mobile devices will be available offering an even more unique experience than before.
