diadrasis brings together a multidisciplinary team of more than ten full-time professionals with diverse academic backgrounds, while maintaining long-standing collaborations with highly specialized external experts in information technology, engineering, the humanities, and the creative arts.
Ioannis Ladas
General Manager
Founder of diadrasis, holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
He has extensive experience in managing, designing, and delivering IT projects, with particular expertise in extended reality technologies, documentation systems, and web and multimedia applications.
As a software engineer, he has considerable experience in the development of databases and documentation systems (SQL, MySQL), web applications (HTML5, PHP), multimedia applications (Unity, C#), and interoperability solutions that enable communication between information systems through Web Services, JSON, and XML.
Theodora Angelopoulou
Project Manager
She is an archaeologist with a degree in History and Archaeology from the University of Ioannina and an MSc in Museum Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Since 2017, she has been actively engaged in the fields of culture and education, undertaking roles that range from museum planning and interpretation to the design and implementation of educational and cultural programmes. She has extensive experience in collection documentation and digitization, contributes to the preparation of museological and technical content, and specializes in the scientific, advisory, and administrative support of research, European, and other projects dedicated to the management, interpretation, and promotion of cultural heritage.
She joined diadrasis in 2022 as a Project Manager.
Stathis Georgiou
Head of Application Development
He is a software developer with many years of experience in the design and development of web, mobile, and desktop applications using Unity3D and C#. His work focuses particularly on virtual and augmented reality environments, digital interpretation systems, and interactive games.
He has been a permanent member of the diadrasis team since 2016 and has served as lead developer on all major projects undertaken by the company. In parallel, he collaborates with the Integrated Systems Laboratory of the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, where he develops applications and games for European research projects.
Spyros Bakalakos
Software Engineer
He is a Software Engineer and a graduate of the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics at the University of West Attica and holds an MSc in Game Design & Technology from the University of Gothenburg.
He specializes in the development of interactive digital applications using Unity and C#, and has extensive professional experience in creating 3D interactive environments, digital twin simulations for industrial and technological applications, as well as educational and entertainment-focused digital experiences.
He has been collaborating with diadrasis since 2025, contributing to the development of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) applications.
Terpsi Kremali
Graphic Designer
She graduated from the Department of Fine Arts and Art Sciences at the University of Ioannina and holds an MSc in Digital Communication Media and Interactive Environments from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has extensive experience in designing and delivering educational workshops with a strong emphasis on visual and audiovisual creativity. Since 2015, she has worked with diadrasis as a graphic designer, contributing to the design of digital applications, websites, educational publications, printed communication material, and interactive digital environments.
Margarita Simopoulou
Graphic Designer
She holds a degree in Graphic Design from the former Technological Educational Institute of Athens and specializes in 2D and 3D digital animation. She also holds a postgraduate degree in Information and Communication Technologies in Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Since 2013, she has collaborated with cultural organizations and creative agencies in the fields of graphic design and animation.
She joined diadrasis in 2018 and works as an animator and graphic designer, creating multimedia content for digital applications and 3D environments.
Dimitris Tsalkanis
Visual Artist and Multimedia Specialist
He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts and Art Sciences at the University of Ioannina and holds a Master’s degree in Film Post Production with a specialization in Visual Effects from the University of York.
His areas of expertise include editing, visual effects, colour grading, and 2D and 3D animation. He has developed particular expertise in archaeological 3D reconstructions and has been a long-standing collaborator of diadrasis since 2017.
Ioannis Prousiotis
3D Modeler
He holds a degree in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
With more than ten years of experience in the creation of 3D models and architectural visualizations, he specializes in producing digital representations of spaces, buildings, and objects. His engineering background is complemented by experience in environmental studies and architectural projects.
He is also co-founder of Viones Virtual Project, a start-up established in 2016 that focuses on virtual and augmented reality solutions. He has been collaborating with diadrasis since 2020.
Niki Karatsori
Head of Communications
Niki Karatsori holds a degree in Marketing and Communication from the Athens University of Economics and Business and an MSc in Arts & Culture Management from Rome Business School. She has attended numerous professional seminars and has further specialized in the fields of arts, culture, and social impact.
Since 2022, she has been working in marketing and communications, collaborating with companies and cultural organizations and focusing on strategic development and strengthening their digital presence.
She has been collaborating with Diadrasis since 2026 as Communications Manager.
Eftychia Mavrou
3D Modeler
She holds a degree in Product Design and Innovation from AKTO. She specializes in 3D graphics design and visual storytelling, with a particular interest in creating digital experiences and virtual environments.
She began her professional career in 3D modelling in 2026, joining Diadrasis to contribute to the design and development of 3D digital content.
