Artistic Fusion of Immersive Storytelling and Artificial Intelligence.

“Oxymoron VR” is a VR Cinema project that merges immersive storytelling with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) elements. This proposal evolves from the two-channel video installation "oxymoron", showcased at the International Independed Art Fair Platforms Project 2024 by Dim Agathopoulos and Konstantinos Tiligadis.  Through the proposal to the Greek Film Centre, we aim to transfer the experience into a fully immersive virtual world where the fictional characters are brought to life with voices, allowing the user to actively interact with them.

The narrative explores the coexistence of two opposing worlds, the "Plastotopos" and the "Skiotopos," mirroring the sharp contrasts of contemporary society. “Oxymoron” aspires to bridge the realms of art and technology, crafting a conceptual and sensory journey that fuses creativity with innovation. Simultaneously, it invites viewers to contemplate the multidimensional contradictions of human existence through a profound and layered dialogue rooted in the coexistence of these dualistic worlds.
