DIADRASIS with funding from the Ministry of Culture will start designing in the next few months the application “Looking for Athens: an AR game for portable devices in Athens”, which will have the form of a treasure hunt game in real time and space around the heritage spaces of Athens.

Using augmented reality, which gives the user an exceptional experience but without cutting him of from his/her surroundings, the application urges the user, through giving him clues in the form of text, images etc, to solve riddles while going around the old city of Athens.

The App can be a fun alternative tour guide for every age in the form of a game which will include many different time periods and themes like story events, philosophy and even taste.
