September 1, 2024Diadrasis participated in the funding application process for research projects under the Strategic Initiative "Research – Innovate," submitting five proposals.
The "Research – Innovate" initiative has a total budget of 300 million euros and aims to enhance research through the collaboration between businesses or between businesses and research institutions. Its goal is to bring forward innovative products that will support the international expansion of businesses and enhance the competitiveness of the Greek economy.
Applications were submitted under the Priority Sector "Tourism, Culture & Creative Industries", with the aim of developing intelligent tools that leverage cutting-edge technologies (Augmented and Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence) within the framework of both Intervention I and Intervention II.
The primary objective of Intervention I, "Research and Development by Businesses", is to create new positions for research and scientific/technical personnel by supporting research, promoting innovation, and enhancing business networking. Two proposals were submitted in this context, in close collaboration with the company Muevo.
Similarly, under Intervention II, "Partnerships between Businesses and Research Organizations," which aims to promote collaborations/partnerships between businesses and research institutions, three proposals were submitted in partnership with the following research organizations: the School of Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens, the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication, and the Department of Interior Architecture at the University of West Attica, as well as the Department of Architecture at the University of Patras. Partner companies include Nubis and Karpos.
