Testimonies, Landscapes, and Stories from Corinthia
As part of the «Reinstallation of the Historical-Folklore Museum of Corinth» project, the filming and production of the audiovisual material that will accompany the museum’s new permanent exhibition have been completed.
In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, diadrasis was responsible for the creative design and production of the content for the museum’s digital applications, documenting stories, people, landscapes, and experiences that enrich the museological narrative and connect the exhibits with the contemporary memory and identity of Corinthia.
First Floor – Rural Life
To support the narrative of the exhibition’s first floor, dedicated to the rural landscape of Corinthia, filming took place across both mountainous and lowland areas of the region.
Agriculture, livestock farming, local products, and seasonal production cycles formed the core of the audiovisual documentation. Through images, sounds, and testimonies from people who continue local agricultural traditions today, a rich multimedia experience was created, capturing the relationship between local communities, the natural environment, and the productive activities that shape the region.
Second Floor – Urban Life
The second floor of the exhibition is dedicated to urban life and the shaping of the modern city. Among its thematic sections, special emphasis is given to the arrival of the Asia Minor refugees and the experiences that contributed to the formation of the collective memory of the local community.
As part of the production process, an interview was conducted with Vasiliki Eustratiadou-Dimitropoulou, President of the Asia Minor Cultural Association of Corinth, who shared valuable testimonies and personal stories about life in Corinth, as well as the processes of coexistence and integration of refugee communities into local society.
The completed audiovisual material will be presented as part of the museum’s permanent exhibition, functioning as a living extension of the collections and offering visitors a more immersive understanding of everyday life and the cultural heritage of Corinthia.
The completion of filming and audiovisual production marks another important milestone in the museum’s reinstallation process, contributing to the creation of a contemporary and multi-layered visitor experience.
